Powerful Immune Boosting Shots

With the cold weather settling in, you will need to boost that body! Say no to germs! With these immunity shots, we aren’t talking about the shots that hurt (But it still might sting just a little bit). We are talking about shooters filled with nutritious, immune boosting tonic that will wake up your system and keep you healthy all winter long!


This immune boosting shot recipe won’t take you more than 5 minutes to prep and make, so take it daily for best results. You will need about 4 carrots (you can use carrot juice), 2 peeled lemons, a big chunk of fresh ginger (or you can use ginger juice) and 2-4 cloves of garlic. I recommend organic produce whenever possible. You are going to throw all of this into a blender and blend for a few seconds.

This recipe will make about 6 one-ounce shots. Plenty to share with friends or family or just take throughout the day if you feel a cold brewing! It’s best to drink when fresh, but if you won’t use it all, freeze it and save for later! This is going to be a very spicy drink, so prepare your tongue for quite a kick! POW!!!


The garlic might be the toughest to get down and stomach, but it is much needed in an immune boosting recipe like this one. Garlic stands up tall as a natural antibiotic and antibacterial agent, with reports of medicinal use that date back decades throughout our history. There are even historical anecdotes of garlic being used to ward off the plague!


Ginger also plays a vital role in setting up your immune system’s best defenses. Ayurvedic medicine has praised ginger’s ability to boost the immune system before recorded history. It believes that because ginger is so effective at warming the body, it can help break down the accumulation of toxins in your organs. It’s also known to cleanse the lymphatic system, our body’s sewage system.


Then you have your carrots or carrot juice. Carrots have the ability to improve skin health, boost the immune system, help tummy troubles and detoxify all that gunk out of your body! Carrots also provide a bunch of vitamins and minerals to keep you healthy. Who knew bunny food could be so beneficial? :)


Lastly you will get your sour punch of lemon juice! Lemon is a great cleansing and detoxifying fruit that gets everything that doesn’t belong moving and out of your body. There are so many other great things you can do with lemons too. Try diffusing some lemon essential oil for a quick uplifting mood booster! Plus, it tastes wonderful too. Who doesn’t love the sweet and sour taste of fresh lemon? So refreshing.

When you are not feeling so hot, it’s best to eat light and avoid inflammatory dairy and wheat so you can feel better, faster.


Powerful Immune Boosting Shot Recipe


Notes: Makes about {6} one ounce shots. The garlic is essential, but I promise it goes down easier than you’d think.

Ingredients:

4 carrots (Will use carrot juice)

a silver dollar sized piece of ginger (will use ginger juice)

2 lemons, peeled

2 – 4 cloves of garlic


One by one throw run these ingredients through your juicer.

Divide into 6 shots, and drink as needed. Stay well :)
